Integrated Emergency Response and Smart Control System for Agriculture

A large African agricultural park deployed a LoRaWAN-based IoT system with environmental sensors and Panic Buttons to address greenhouse environmental risks and field safety challenges.

In greenhouses, Sensors monitor temperature, humidity, and light in real time. Triggering the Panic Button during fires or anomalies activates automated power cutoff and ventilation/fire suppression systems to protect crops.

For field operations, workers press the Panic Button during emergencies (injuries, venomous insect attacks), sending GPS-tagged alerts via LoRaWAN base stations to management, reducing rescue response to under 10 minutes.
